FACILITIES INTERNSHIP

The Facilities internship at Open Door Church is an opportunity for individuals 13 years and older who are interested in being introduced to a large variety of trades, including but not limited to painting, plumbing, and electrical work. Interns will have the chance to work with the church's Facilities Team, gaining valuable experience for both prospective careers and home ownership.


Schedule

January 14th - May 20th


Wednesdays | 8:30am - 2pm


  • Concentrate on practical skills for day- to-day life
  • Topics include electrical work, plumbing, painting, administrative work, and more


One additional meeting on a Friday

The Internship exists as a primer for learning how to paint, do plumbing, electrical, landscaping, and more. These skills are applicable for almost any walk of life and are incredibly practical for anyone.
