GO WITH THE GOSPEL

Go with the gospel. These words end our worship gatherings each week and express our desire for Open Door to be a church that impacts our community, nation, and world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our goal is for every member to flood their conversations with the gospel in their spheres of influence. We also establish strategic partnerships in our community, nation and world that help us go with the gospel wherever our church family is called.

COMMUNITY

We desire for Open Door to be a light in our community. In addition to our members actively sharing the gospel, the ministries listed below are designed to meet practical needs as we minister to our neighbors. We encourage you to reach out and get involved today.

Food Pantry

Our Food Pantry provides basic food staples to those in need of food in our community. There are no fees, no limits on visits per month, and no eligibility requirements to receive food. Operation hours are Saturdays from 11am-noon, with check-in beginning at 10:30am. We also pre-pack boxes Friday night from 7-9pm. For more information or to sign up to serve, email Joyce Millard.

ESL

We provide English classes to the community through formal classroom instruction and relational conversation building toward a greater aptitude in the English language. Our ESL program meets once a week on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:30pm. Each night there are two 50-minute classes with a 20-minute conversation cafe in between. If you are interested in serving as an ESL teacher please contact Matthew Page.

Biblical Counseling

We provide church-based, Christ-centered, biblical counseling to individuals, couples, and families to help them find and apply God’s answers for their personal and relational problems. As a ministry of Open Door, we offer this service to our members and to the community. If you have training in biblical counseling or are interested in being trained as a counselor, please contact Chris Smith.

Nation

In 2005, we committed to being a multiplying church and became a founding member of The Pillar Network. Since then Open Door has planted over a dozen churches and is recognized as one of the top 100 multiplying churches in America. We partner with The Pillar Network and the North American Mission Board to plant and revitalize churches across North America. If you are interested in partnering with us please email Pastor Dwayne Milioni.

World

We are also active in sending our members around the world through our partnership with the International Mission Board. We currently have 14 singles and families on the field and are one of the IMB's top five sending churches. If you are interested in being prepared to serve internationally please email Casey Clark.
