Missions at Open Door
Open Door is committed to making the gospel known to our community, nation, and world. Every year our members go on trips nationally and internationally to encourage and support the work of our church planters and missionaries. Please see below for information on upcoming trips and prayerfully consider going.
Also, as a church, we are committed to praying for and supporting our church planters and missionaries year round. We are a founding member of The Pillar Network; a church planting network made up of like-minded churches to help equip pastors and plant churches. We also have a Missions Team that prays for and works to keep our congregation connected to our missionaries. If you are interested in church planting or international missions consider getting involved with The Pillar Network or our Missions Team.
7 Churches Tour (Turkey)
Join us in March 2020 as we explore some of the places where the gospel first took root. Our adventure to Turkey will explore the seven churches from the book of Revelation as we walk where Paul and other early Christians walked. We will tour cities such as Ephesus, Smyrna, and Leodicea as we learn about what life was like for early Christians and how their walk with Christ influences us today. To learn more about this trip, please contact Traci Rafferty.
Date: March 2020
Cost: $2,000 - $2,300
In November 2020, we will be taking a trip to Maputo, Mozambique to work alongside one of our international Missionaries, Thiago Montanher. We will be serving local churches by helping with English Classes, prayer walking, evangelism, and other forms of ministry. Also, we will be doing different service projects such as painting and roofing. For more information about this trip please contact Traci Rafferty.
