The summer creative internship at Open Door Church is a 15 hour a week opportunity for individuals who are interested in working with the church's media, production, and creative teams. Interns will have the chance to gain hands-on experience in various areas such as video editing, graphic design, audio engineering, and stage management. The church staff will provide discipleship and mentorship to help interns grow in their craft as well as in their character. This internship is a unique opportunity to work with multiple teams and gain a well-rounded experience in the creative field.

Schedule

Learning Sessions


Mondays | 9 am - 2 pm


  • Focus on media creation
  • Topics include video editing, photo editing, and graphic design


Wednesdays | 2 pm - 7 pm


  • Concentrate on live production
  • Topics include audio mixing, broadcast video, and stage lighting


Sunday | 7 am - 12 pm


  • Interns are expected to serve on most Sundays

Through one-on-one meetings and group activities, interns will have the opportunity to build relationships with church staff who can offer valuable insights and advice for their future careers.
