What Is The Heart Of Women's Ministry?
Women’s Ministry at Open Door is a place for women of all ages and backgrounds to connect, grow, and walk through life together. We want every woman to feel welcomed, known, and encouraged as she grows in her relationship with Christ and builds meaningful relationships with other women.
Through Bible studies, retreats, service opportunities, and times of fellowship and fun, we create space for women to deepen their faith, serve others, and discover the joy of doing life in community. Our hope is that every woman who connects with Women’s Ministry feels a sense of belonging and is encouraged to live out her faith with purpose.
What We Do
By offering these classes and programs, we aim care for and disciple women in the church to be strong in their faith, know the Bible, and be mentors to the next generation.
LADIES BIBLE STUDY
Ladies Bible Study is a welcoming place for women to gather, study God’s Word, and grow together in faith. Whether you’re new to Bible study or have been walking with Christ for years, you’ll find a place to connect with other women, learn together, and deepen your relationship with God. Ladies Bible Study meets Fridays at 9:15am in the Mirror Room and is offered in both a fall and spring semester. We’d love for you to join us as we grow in faith and encourage one another along the way.
WOMEN'S MENTORSHIP
Women’s Mentorship is an opportunity to grow deeper in your relationship with Christ while learning to invest in the lives of others. Through this two-year discipleship journey, women are encouraged and equipped to grow in spiritual maturity, develop confidence in their faith, and live out the Great Commission in everyday life.
At the heart of Women’s Mentorship is a simple desire: to make disciples who make disciples. As women grow together, our hope is that they will be equipped to faithfully pour into others and continue the work of making disciples for generations to come.
WOMEN'S EVENTS
Throughout the year, we create special opportunities for women to step away from the busyness of life, connect with one another, and be encouraged in their walk with Christ. From our annual Adorned gathering to our every-other-year Women’s Retreat, these events are designed to refresh your faith, deepen relationships, and remind you that you don’t have to walk this journey alone.We’d love for you to make space to gather, grow, and enjoy meaningful time together.
WOMEN'S PRAYER GATHERING
Women’s Prayer is a monthly opportunity to slow down, seek the Lord, and pray together. As women, we gather to lift up our families, our church, our community, and the needs around us while encouraging one another through prayer. Whether you’re new to praying with others or have been part of prayer gatherings for years, you’re welcome to join us. Come find a quiet space to connect with God, be encouraged, and experience the strength that comes from praying together. Women’s Prayer meets monthly at 8:00am in the Fireside Room.
