What is Young Adult Ministry?
The Young Adult Ministry serves men and women ages 18–29 who are in college, graduate school, or beginning their careers. Our heart is to walk alongside young adults during this formative season of life, helping them grow in their relationship with Christ and live out their faith in meaningful ways.
We want to create a community where young adults can build authentic friendships, ask honest questions, and discover how their unique gifts and passions can be used for God’s glory. Whether on campus, at work, or in everyday life, our desire is to see young adults become fully devoted followers of Jesus who boldly share their faith and actively engage in the world around them.
We believe that investing in young adults today is essential to shaping the future of the church and advancing the mission of Christ for generations.
What We Do
Through our programs and gatherings, we aim to equip young adults ages 18–29 to know God’s Word, grow in community, and live out their faith with courage and purpose. Whether in college, graduate school, or beginning a career, this season of life is filled with opportunities to follow Jesus and influence the world for Him.
YOUNG ADULT CARE GROUPS
Community is at the heart of who we are at Open Door. Our Young Adult Care Groups provide a space to grow in faith alongside others through honest conversation, encouragement, and accountability. We study God’s Word together, learning how to apply biblical truths to our daily lives, and aim to see young men and women strengthened in their walk with Christ while investing in the lives of others by making disciples. Through these groups, we support one another to live out our faith and grow in the grace and knowledge of God.
YOUNG ADULT LUNCHES
Our Young Adult Lunches are an open invitation to come share a meal, build friendships, and learn from different leaders and families in the church. These lunches create a welcoming space to connect with others, hear wisdom from those further along in their faith journey, and enjoy meaningful fellowship together.
